Today was Nathan's Thanksgiving play. He had one of the "lead" roles in it. He and his friend, Jaya, were the farmers. And, what an adorable farmer he made! He practiced his line for weeks! He was so proud of himself and we were so proud of him! What made the day even more special was that Charlotte was already out of school...so me, Charlotte and Daddy were all able to go and watch Nathan's dramatic debut and cheer him on. Charlotte was so proud of him, she was just glowing as she watched her little brother shine! I just love the bond that they have. A mother could not ask for anything more. These two fill my heart with happiness and to watch them support one another and be happy for each other is just amazing.

The Nugget Turns 5!
Our littlest guy turned 5, can you believe it! I certainly can't! It just seems like yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital with his brown and blue polka dot blanket. But here he is....a funny, intelligent, boisterous and loving 5 year old. Nathan was the piece of our family that we didn't know was missing. He made us whole. He has made us the family that we were meant to be. He is silly, fun loving, gentle, sensitive and wild all at the same time. Some people need a few minutes to wake up in the morning. Not Nathan...he goes from totally asleep to 90 miles and hour in 10 seconds. He wakes up and meets the day with smiles and excitement. He loves nothing more than to be hugged, snuggled and kissed. He is the family comedian..he loves to make us laugh. He is also so intelligent. He is brilliant...his mind is always working. He picks up on things that I never would and he NEVER forgets anything. He is caring and loving. Nathan is such a special boy, I could never fully explain what he brings to our lives. And....he just LOVES his mama! He is a mama's boy. I know this is short lived....but I am so enjoying him being my buddy. I know it will be a few short years before he won't want my hugs and kisses....so I savor that now. Every time he runs up to me for a hug, I tell him, "Can you promise me that you will still want snuggles when you are older?" Happy Birthday to my Nugget, you are best son a mom could ever dream of. You make me so proud....I can only hope you know how much you are loved!
