Who's spoiled?

There actually IS a method to the "5 sucker" madness. If you give Charlotte one sucker, she runs around the house like a lunatic posing a choking hazard...it's an endless fight. Then, she drags Grandma back to the jar to get her flavor after flavor to try. Grandma, in her infinite wisdom, just laid out 5 suckers at once. Now, Charlotte sits nicely at the table and "samples" each one over and over. She never actually finishes them...just a few licks here and there. It kept her calmer. Plus, since Grandpa bought 4,000 of them at Costco (give or take a few) Grandma can get rid of 5 at once. We also turned it into a learning experience by having her name the colors. Okay, I am done justifying the pictures now!
