Nate and Charlotte getting some "morning snuggles" before breakfast
Charlotte making dinner last week. Kevin found an Emeril book about cooking with kids. Charlotte chose chicken parmesan and she pretty much made it herself...read the recipe and all! (Kevin fried the chicken and put things in and out of the oven)
Her masterpiece
Eating after her hard work
It was delicious and she was so proud of herself!
Charlotte and I went out to a special breakfast alone on Veteran's Day while Nate was at school..it was so nice to spend a little time alone with my girl!
Hot chocolate treat!
We bought some unifix cubes to help Charlotte with her math. Nate decided to make a pattern...but not just any pattern...an AABC pattern...he might be pretty bright after all!
We had a pretty big thunderstorm on Friday night...this little one ended up in my bed after a particularly loud clap of thunder. Who can blame her!?
We went to a birthday party at the Rainbow play systems showroom. Rainbow play systems are fancy (and expensive) swing sets. We went there when we were looking for a swingset. We decided on a much cheaper Costco model, lol! Anyway, they have a dozen or so floor models set up..so, they offer birthday parties. Genius. Here are my two cuties hanging out in a slide tube. How cute are they!!!!!
